NetScaler Access Gateway

Yesterday Barry Schiffer posted a new blog titled Citrix NetScaler Access Gateway What’s the real amount of ICA proxy users you can handle? which is a result of  conversations he had with a couple of great minds of this industry and basically he’s doing some research on how many users your remote access device can handle and what kind of certificate you’re using.

Funny thing is that there was a guest blogpost yesterday on BrainMadden.com called: With Citrix AG and CSG going away, how far can you get with NetScaler VPX? The answer: pretty far! Julien Stanojevic is saying he can get 1900 ICA Proxy sessions on a VPX 200 without problems, he even goes as far as saying:

Personally, I would feel confident to scale up this environment to at least five times these numbers without a blink before considering any architectural change.

I would love to see more votes on Barry’s research and that’s why I’m writing this blog so go to his website and vote on your NS device and type of certificate.
