Kees Baggerman is a Technical Director for the Performance and Solutions Engineering R&D team at Nutanix Inc. In his role, Kees leads a team that develops methods for successfully implementing applications on the Nutanix platform. In addition, he also delivers customer projects, including defining architectural, business, and technical requirements, creating designs, and implementing the Nutanix solution.
Before starting at Nutanix Kees’ main areas of work were migrations and implementations of Microsoft and Citrix infrastructures, writing functional/technical designs for Microsoft infrastructures, Microsoft RDS or Citrix (Presentation Server/ XenApp, XenDesktop and NetScaler) in combination with RES Workspace Manager and/or RES Automation Manager.
Kees is a Citrix Certified Integration Architect, Citrix Certified Expert on Virtualization, Citrix Certified Professional on Mobility and Networking, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, RES Certified Professional and RES Certified Trainer
RES Software also named Kees RES RSVP from 2010 – 2016. Kees was rewarded as RES Software Most Valuable Professional of 2011.
In 2011 until 2018 Kees received the VMware vExpert title, the VMware vExpert title is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. The title is awarded to individuals (not employers) for their commitment to sharing their knowledge and passion for VMware technology above and beyond their job requirements.
Kees received the NVIDIA Grid Community Advisor award in 2017 and 2018, the NVIDIA vGPU Community Advisor Program brings together graphics virtualization thought leaders and experts from across the globe, giving members exclusive access and insight into NVIDIA virtual GPU product strategy and technology. This select group engages with NVIDIA team members to help drive the future of graphics virtualization and cloud technologies by providing feedback on product strategy, shaped by their experiences and expertise.
Citrix awarded Kees the Citrix Technology Professional title in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the Citrix Technology Professionals (CTP) Program recognises the contributions of individuals who have invested a significant amount of time and resources to become experts in Citrix products and solutions.
Kees is co-founder and member of the Board of the Dutch Citrix User Group.
